Location: In our Kingston office, 20-35 hours per week during our normal business hours (9-3 Monday to Friday)

We are a women-led firm located in Kingston, Ontario, and serve customers throughout most provinces in Canada (as well as international clients with Canadian tax filing obligations).

Key Responsibilities:
1. Document Management
· Setting up electronic client files and organize documents related to estate tax matters
· Maintain a systematic filing system for easy retrieval
· Prepare, send and track courier packages containing important documents
· Track and confirm the delivery status of packages
2. Client Communication
· Arrange client signatures on necessary documents
· Assist in communication with clients to ensure all required information is obtained
3. Deadline Management and E-filing Compliance
· Utilize internal software and established processes to effectively track and manage deadlines
· Manage the electronic filing process for tax returns
4. General Administrative Support
· Provide professional telephone support, handling inquiries and directing calls as required
· Process client payments and maintain accurate records
· Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
5. Tax return preparation
· Preparation of personal income tax returns
What you Will Need:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
· Interest in taxation and legal matters relating to estate administration
